WBY wants to play the Silver Spoon again soon..Halloween?
We played Saturday to a great
group of folks who were treating
themselves to the finest food and music in the area. Nice to meet folks passing through Yreka and nice to see Jan and staff so busy...

The dancin was sweet and fun had by all at the Montague hall.
Not many balloon folks but the local family support was good.
Belly dancers were cool..

WBY played on a great stage with sound by Bob Miller (Pegasus) and Carl Schwindeman about 10 miles south of Mt. Shasta at Fridays Resort. Mountain Music Festival... Lots to eat and drink ..fine location...many varied artists at this festival..looking forward to next year....

JPR played our song "High Road"
on the Open Air session of Rhythum and News on September the 8th...People have told us they heard it...this is great news..Thanks JPR !!!!

WBY was proud to donate our music to support the Silva family especially Dillon. It was his Dad, Josh who's memory we celebrated..along with all the bikers who rode in the "Memorial Run" and the local folk who joined the show that was all about love and caring.. ..Clarence and Bob did great solo performances and WBY
rocked the park....Thanks to Carl for doing the sound mix for all the shows. Nancy Silva sent us a sweet thank you..check it out in our guestbook..

Thanks to Paul Johnson and all the partiers who made it through all three bands...As per expected
the mystical magnetic effect of WBY's presence combined with Pauls weather vortex brought thunder, hail and rain ...cooled it down and we played on til ten

WBY played a birthday party for (Pick) Nick Saturday night (August 2) at the Etna Brewery. We played an ole "Beetles" tune for several birthdays in the crowd...Much thanks to all the folks who cheered and whistled
for Nick. Marilyn and staff treated the band to pastries after the show..sweet

By the light of the silvery moon Wild Blues Yonder played at the "Spoon". What a great place to play...The Old Yreka Bakery brick wall made the perfect backdrop. It was constructed in 1858 and given a fresh sound massage by WBY in 2008...We hope to play
there again in August...

WBY played Evo's coffee lounge
in Ashland and we wanted to thank Daniel and Bridgette for the opportunity. It was a test of our dynamics as we had to play
soft and sweet. We felt very appreciated by the staff and patrons and we hope to play outside next time so we can let it fly...We are still gunning for Alex's so let them know...

The new "Toast" Bar was rockin with WBY Saturday night til late.
Folks had fun and the new owners are great..Thanks for having us and lets get those fires out so we can all breathe a bit easier...

Thanks to all listeners and the folks at the Etna Brewery for
the fun show Saturday night. There were 400 downstrikes of lightning in our area and many started fires. We lucked out,
the storms cleared and we all had our Soulstice on a perfect crisp night...shorter days from now on...Peace

WBY just sweated out a Video performance recorded by MCTV Channel 15 . It will be aired in the Mt. Shasta area. After adjusting light combinations, wiring hurdles, and changes in wardrobe we managed to pull this off. Film crew was great....We want to recommend to other bands to do this... contact Nick for more info...

The Elsewhere Skies CD release party raged on despite the lightning and downpour. We played in the front bar of the Silver Spoon and performed for dining guests and fans. Jan was most gracious and treated us special. We hope to play there again out back on the patio.

The band will play a party hosted on our behalf at "Silver Spoon" located in Yreka to celebrate the release of our "Elsewhere Skies' CD. We hope to make new friends . We will play on the patio from 8-10 pm ...come enjoy the world of "Wild Blues Yonder"...see you there...Griz

A big hats off to Paul Johnson for hosting an excellant party including a couple of bands and a couple of birthdays. His place up Kidder creek is scenic and located right on the creek ...looking forward to summer fun.
The wind blew and the snow too..More folks should come next time..keep an eye out on our calendar...

Wild Blues Yonder band released their 2nd CD (first one was live") and our first all originals production on Sunday March 30. Karen hosted a strategy meeting for the band complete with a buffet. Now that we've invested a zillion dollars putting this together, it's time to sell,sell,sell CD's . Please support the band so we can continue to bring you the best music in Northern California..WBY
